This is just a little word to the wise – if you’re thinking of ordering some fused glass to send to a loved one this Christmas, don’t delay. An Post have publicly acknowledged that they are experiencing serious delays, due to the increased volume of parcel post this year. Everyone is benefitting from being able to shop online, but we all want our parcels to arrive in time.

I’m attaching the official An Post latest posting times for Christmas, but honestly, I wouldn’t wait. I’ve had some parcels take a few weeks to arrive to their destination – even within Ireland. And others have got there in a day or two. There doesn’t seem to be much logic as to what arrives without delay and what gets held up in the Mail Centre in Dublin.

I do my best to carefully package up and post all orders within a day or two. But I cannot guarantee the length of time An Post will take to deliver your parcels.
