Ogham ‘Grá – Love’ Framed Fused Glass panel

A beautiful gift for a couple getting engaged, or married. Ogham is the first recorded celtic script, and has been found in standing stones throughout Ireland. It is read from bottom up, and although not exact, it is usually represented in Irish.

This panel is made entirely of glass: the base is covered in rich, warm ambers and reds. The script is made of special aventurine glass, which has an extra shimmer. It reads  G-R-A, which is the Irish for ‘Love’.

The finished, fused piece of glass retains its texture, making it tactile – you can feel the lettering. It is framed in black, to match the script, and is ready to hang. It measures approximately 20cm x 35cm. On the reverse is a little explanation (pictured). This piece is made of pure glass, not painted – it will never fade, and will remain as vibrant as it is today. There is no reason why it couldn’t be passed down from one generation to another, and is therefore a thoughtful, everlasting gift.

If goods are in stock, I aim to dispatch orders within 2-3 days of receipt of payment. If you order an item that is temporarily out of stock, I will advise you immediately of when I expect to dispatch the order.

Postage Rates

I am happy to offer FREE delivery on all orders over €50, to any one address in Ireland or Europe, with free delivery on orders over €100, to any other address worldwide. On orders below these values, delivery charges are as follows:
  • Ireland: €5 postage for orders less than €20, €10 postage on orders valued €20-€50 FREE!
  • UK and Europe: €8 postage for orders less than €20, €12 postage on orders valued €20-€50
  • US and rest of World: €10 postage for orders less than €20, €15 postage on orders valued €20-€50, €20 postage on orders of €50-€100

Gift Certificates

I am delighted to be able to post Gift Certificates completely FREE, but to avail of this you cannot have any other items in the basket at the time. If you do, Gift Certificates will be treated like any other product! Please keep this in mind. Gift Certificates can only be redeemed in person and must meet all the conditions and requirements specified.

Returns

I want you to be delighted with your King’s Forge Glass purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, please email me within 7 days of receipt.

I will be happy to exchange or refund any item returned within 14 days of receipt, provided that it is returned intact, undamaged and unused. Please be sure to get proof of postage. I cannot accept returns of custom orders. The buyer is responsible for return delivery costs, except where the return is due to an error on the part of King’s Forge Glass.

By its nature, glass is fragile, so I package every order very carefully. Breakages are extremely rare. Should an item arrive broken, please be sure to photograph it adequately upon receipt, and contact me immediately.
