So, last year, I was commissioned to make a front door panel in coloured fused glass for a family.  I loved the whole process – adding a few ‘secret’ personal elements that the family could relate to, but that nobody else might notice. It was a wonderful commission. The family were happy, and it had made me very happy to work on it.

As I did it, it occurred to me that I could do a fused glass panel for my own front door…so here it is! I made it while working away in splendid isolation during the ‘lockdown’.

The panel still needs to be installed securely – I’ve just placed it in situ to see what it looks like. What do you think? 🙂
