I am very lucky to live and work at the top of what’s reputedly the highest point in County Monaghan – Mullyash Mountain, just outside Castleblayney. My studio looks down over the county’s famous drumlins for miles around. At this time of year, I am spoiled with regular breath-taking sunsets, as my studio faces west. More often than not, I drop what I’m doing and run outside to try to capture the scene, but the camera never really manages to record what my eyes can see. Here are a few sunsets I’ve grabbed on camera during the month of October alone!
But there was one sunset in particular that really took my breath away – and I decided I would try to capture it in glass. Hope you like it!
