January – the quiet month

Like most craftspeople, January finds me reviewing last year, doing a bit of a clean-up, replenishing stock, and dreaming up new ideas! If I’m quiet, it’s because I just don’t have anything to shout about at this time of the year.

That’s not to say I don’t enjoy it.  I love the Christmas season, and I’m always sorry to see it go…but this time of year has a lot to offer.  My mind is free to explore ideas I may have shelved when I was too busy to think, and I have the opportunity to be very creative. That’s what I do to keep those dreaded January blues at bay.

New decoration designs

My Christmas decorations are always very popular, and keep me busy. Even to my own surprise, I’ve already come up with a new design for 2021 – a little robin redbreast! Should I share it now, or leave it until next Christmas comes close? Let me know what you think! I also never know whether I should remove my decorations from the website until late in the year, or should I have them available throughout? I’ll have a little think about that too, but I’d love to hear your thoughts. You can email me through the website, or contact me on social media anytime. 🙂

Cocktail Swizzle Sticks re-stocked and re-packaged

Meanwhile, I’m happy to say that all the four colours of my cocktail swizzle sticks are back in stock  (Set of 4 Cocktail Swizzle Sticks in Carnival Colours). And I’ve changed the packaging. The set of 4 cocktail sticks now come in a sleeve, with a card behind them. They fit snugly together, and are ideal for posting in a padded envelope, for gifts to loved ones anywhere. I thought it might be fun to include a recipe for my favourite cocktail, a New York classic, the Cosmopolitan.

The cocktail sticks are just the same, but I hope you like their new presentation.
